Reviews: A.B.C (All Bout Cash) Album - Stitch

"Album Cover"
I purchased myself a copy of Stitch's debut album A.B.C (All Bout Cash), and I must say it was a great choice kickstarting the CD with the song "Keep It Alive" right after the Intro(skit), which is a hustler's version of a love song, with an A-list instrumental produced by KaniBal. One of our favorite songs on this album, with metaphorical punchlines from Stitch and an honest approach from D-jay with KaniBal's gracious voice on the hook. The lyrical content & delivery from all three artists is on 10, the emotion in their voice projection's believable. Among other songs are the bangers "Get It In" featuring Catty Catt and "Danger" featuring Lil D, with an old school melodic feel of a summer jam.
However, after listening to the album a few more times, I still couldn't grasp the idea of Stitch's sound as an individual seeing as the entire album is flooded with features (good features), which makes it difficult for listeners to get acquited with his music as a solo artist considering that this is his first solo album. One would have thought it is a Gumdam (his former group's) project as he included old unreleased tracks from the group on the album as his own featuring the group members. Out of the ten songs on the CD, nine had features.

  1. album where all musical or lyrical ideas contribute to a single overall theme or unified story. Absolutely amazing, we can not be more thankful for all the albums we have played for and all the people we have met throughout our whole journey of playing.
